Pickups for Stratocaster Guitars
“Millers”
Miller's™ Stratocaster Pickup Set
Inspired by the first Stratocasters. Refined through years of research.
The Miller's™ is my interpretation of the original 1954 "Black Era" Stratocaster® pickup - the design that introduced one of the most influential electric guitar sounds ever created.
Those first Strat pickups possessed a character unlike anything that came after them. Their Alnico 3 magnets produced an open, airy response with remarkable clarity, sweetness, and touch sensitivity. Clean tones shimmer with glassy highs and articulate lows, while overdriven amplifiers respond with a smooth, expressive feel that never feels harsh or congested.
Rather than simply reproducing vintage specifications, I spent years studying what made the best original examples so inspiring to play. Every design choice from magnet selection and winding technique to output balance was made with one goal: to capture the musicality and dynamic response that made those early Stratocasters legendary while delivering the consistency modern players expect.
The Miller's™ is designed for players who appreciate vintage tone, feel and output with exceptional note separation. Chords remain open and three-dimensional, individual notes bloom naturally, and every nuance of your picking hand is translated to the amplifier.
Whether your style leans toward blues, classic rock, country, jazz, or clean rhythm work, the Miller's™ rewards expressive playing with a remarkably responsive and articulate voice.
